Weekly race roundup – 4th October

by • 10/02/2017

We’re into the final 3 months of 2017 and races have grown scarce as organizers look into 2018 to hold their runs. That being said, there are a few races still available in 2017 that are still open for registration. These races will be included in the round-ups alongside the latest races being planned for 2018. So, read on to find out about the upcoming races and register as soon as you can to avoid the disappointment of slots running out.

Halloween Fun Run 2017

Where: Labrador Park

When: 7th October 2017
Distance: TBC

As October rolls in, one of the greatest festivals of the year rolls in with it. Halloween of course. This month is going to be filled with Halloween themed events and the races aren’t any different. Organized by Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru Community Sports Club, The Halloween Fun Run 2017 is back for its second edition on the 7th of October 2017 at Labrador Park. Get ready to strap on your running shoes and run alongside some very scary characters after the sun goes down. It adds an extra element of fun to a race that will wind through the scenic Labrador Park after sundown. You are encouraged to invite as many friends and family as possible to the race so that you can make memories with them during this festive Halloween period. There are also lucky draw prizes available for all participants so why not try your luck and you may just win something big. Register now to be entitled for a 50 percent discount off your registration fee. Check out the link for more details!

Compressport Run 2018

Where: Gardens by the Bay
When: 4th March 2018
Distance: 5km, 10km

Yes, you’ve probably seen this race on the list before but things have transpired and the race has been moved to March of next year. This is because of the global shortage of Compressport merchandize such as their socks and calf sleeves and they feel that it would be unfair for participants if they didn’t receive their entitlements on time. If you’ve registered and paid for the race, the organizers have put our measures so that all paying participants are accurately compensated. Option 1 and 2 involve the participants being able to participate in either the SIA charity Run or the CSC Run by the Bay 2017 with the full package of entitlements. You will still receive the Compressport gear such as the calf sleeves and socks if you had registered for the 10km and 5km respectively. The third option would be a full refund of the registration fee. Do keep it locked to the link above to get full updates on the new date for the Compressport Run.
